1) The "Story Stats" box is a source of quick information about the story being viewed and can tell you the title, the user who started the story, whether or not you can contribute to the story, how contributions are made, and whether or not comments are allowed. More is explained on each of those below.
2) Displays the title of the story. In this case, Beta - The Test Center
3) The "originator" is the original author of the story/the user who started the story. The originator may or may not be the person who has contributed the most to the story.
4) This line and the next one are very important lines. For reference by a quick glance, this line tells you in green that you may contribute to this story or in red that you may not contribute to this story
5) This line tells you who can add (besides you, that is shown on the previous line) and how addition is done (free response, voting, or by originator approval
6) This line is fairly self-explanatory. It tells you whether or not you may comment on this story or any of its parts.
7) The "Story Toolbox" is more or less what it sounds like. It's a collection of tools pertaining either to the particular story or to stories in general on the site. They will be explained individually in numbers 8-16.
8) Allows you to add an entry/part to the story
9) Brings up the comments box for you to leave a comment about the story as a whole. In general, comments for individual parts of a story should not be made using this link, but instead the link on the part you would like to comment on. The number in parenthesis shows the current number of comments on the story.
