Prolouge: *Emeral watched as tha master elven swordsmith, Liani, forged him a new blade. Then she asked him a question,"How do you fight? It is nessicary that i know this, for the blades I make will only work with the person's style." Emeral gulped. "Err... thats where we have some difficulty. My style is difficult to describe." Taking a poker from her forge, she said," Show me." He picked up a piece of redsteel, put it on two stools so he could execute his usual attack. Then he held the poker with both hands with the tip almost dragging on the floor of the forge, and ran at the redsteel. He threw the poker up in the air, and just before it fell caught it. After a moment the hard metal broke clean in two. Liani said,"Interesting. I've never seen anybody fight like that. Now i know just how i should make your sword, Emeral Shadeslayer.
By now you must all be wondering wth is going on. So here is the easiest way to put it. The Land had become divided into three major factions, The Freedom Fighters(Good), consisting of elves, most humans, dwarves, and the occasional demon or werewolf. The Slavers(Split loyalties), who were made up of the rest of the humans and the dragons, and had the fewest in numbers. However, their individual fighting prowess made them no less feared than the other major powers. And finally, the Horde(Evil), made up of demons, shifters, phasers, werewolves, zombies, and skeletons. They were fighting to make a niche for themselves in the world. But as the fighting progressed, the Horde found that some lines should never be crossed, even by the gods...

Chapter one: News
"Sir!" Commander Wolf of the Freedom Fighter's paladin division, opened his eyes a slit. A young paladin stood before him, looking urgent. Wolf recognised him as junior captain Stillson. "Stillson? What is so important?" He responded, " Sir, we've recieved plans that they're; the Horde, that is: training Darkweavers!!" Commander Wolf swore under his breath. Darkweavers were an ancient order of demons who spent their many days practicing evil spells. If that were happening, he thought, he would have to respond in kind. "Stillson, tell the Mage's Guild to expect additional funding very soon. Thank you for telling me about the Darkweavers."
After a couple of minutes he had issued his orders, so he got to a more important task: Diplomacy. Some divisons of Slavers had offered their assistance. He was very happy about this, because even 200 slavers could make mincemeat out of a 1000-man Horde attack, and give 2000 a fight to remember. He had to run aproval of agreeing to the document and signing it past King Duncan, of course, but he was certain he would accept. Getting comfortable once more, and the moon beginning to rise behind the city, he settled down for a good night's sleep.
Chapter two: In a starry glade.
In the Slaver camp, Simon took the watch that night. Stringing up his trusty longbow, with a draw weight of 60 kilos, he tried to make himself as comfortable as possible. He was surprised, when, after a long time on watch and the far horison turning gold, Galen the marksman, and also his favorite person in the world, walked towards him and sat next to him. He said, after a long moment of enjoying her company," why not get back to sleep?" She purred back, "I couldn't sleep. And it's too late now." She pointed at the golden horizon. He whispered, "Hear that?" It was a crashing sound, like a bear blundering through the forest. Simon drew two arrows and knocked another. Galen, who had not bothered to bring her bow, unsheathed her hand-and-a-half sword with a quiet hiss. They needn't have worried. It was an injured man, with what looked like demon bites on his leg and both arms. He just collapsed where he stood, apparently not noticing the camp. Galen rushed towards him, but Simon just shot him through his neck. The man stopped writhing immediately. Galen turned on him, looking angry. "Why'd you kill him! We could have saved-" "No. He was walking already in the next world. Doctor i am not, but i knew the wounds were fatal. I saved him hours of unessicary suffering. Galen had to admit he was right. Shooting him an apologetic look, she stalked off to her tent. Simon took a closer look at the body. Upon closer examination, he noticed that something was clutched in his palms. War plans, he thought. After reading them thouroughly, an inkling of dread pressed down on him. Best get these to Commander Zilayan, he thought.

Capter three: The resistance
Haz'kam stood in his cave, hundreds of men who had originally fought for the Horde and joined him in front of him. All of them held pilfered weapons. They were waiting for a messenger who had sent plans of the Horde's plans to some Slaver camps, and eventually, Castle Seamont, the capital of the Freedom fighter's empire. If they got it there, they would also be able to send word to the men of Golden Archipelago, The best single combat fighters. They were effectively barparians, raiding the Iberic coasts for the valubles found in droves in coastal strongholds. However, a treaty had been arranged that stopped raiding land in control of the Freedom fighters. Once they were on The Land, that would be their salvation. They, the Resistance, were working against the Horde as double agents and spies. Their runner had been gone for three days and 17 more days would be needed until he got back. Now, however, he was giving a speech. " Men," He said," You have all been risking your lives to get information, and it has now payed off. 5 days ago, we obtained plans that the Horde were going to launch a mass attack by ocean at Castle Seamont."There was a sharp intake of breath. He continued;" We have sent word of this to several Slaver encampments, asking them to bring the message further and eventually get to Seamont. Then, they will be able to send word to men of the Raiders. They're arrival will be salvation for us." They all nodded."Three days ago, at this hour we sent a runner to warn them. If he hasn't returned after 17 days at sundown we will launch a attack on the Horde's harbors, along with sending about a quarter of our numbers to warn the Freedom fighters." He hesitated for a moment. and resumed." I will be going with the group dispatched to Seamont. In my place i will leave general Horace."
