The Brick Wall:
MsGooch72: There it was. It was always there. Red brick piled upon red brick. Every spring it would be covered in fresh new morning glory vines. Every fall would reveal brown whithered vines. Moss grew in certain places and the wall was the perfect hieght to find shade under on a burning hot day in the town... Read More

Hi all, just a quick update. I have temporarily disabled the ability to comment anonymously due to some spam issues. I am currently in the process of completely reworking the code for comments, and will bring it back at that point with some antispam measures, but see little point in wasting time on that code now. Let me know if you have any problems.

Update: May 16

Hi everyone! Long time no see! So, to address some complaints about how difficult it could be to get things to come out right when editing a part, I put those fixes at the top of my list. Result? Editing is easy now. How easy?

As easy as adding to the story! It now has the same editor for editing a part as for adding. I still need to add that editor to one spot (story creation) and then it will be in all the major spots. At some point I might consider it for comments, but I'm not sure yet.

Anyway. Enjoy the new editing tools, I know it has made it a lot easier for me to edit entries already.

Update Feb 24: I made some changes to the router at the server site. I think that this may fix a lot of the lag and delayed response issues the site has been experiencing. I'll test that later since I'm onsite right now and that means that EVERYTHING is fast.

Hey everyone. Welcome to the end of february. I did a little work on the site today, so I wanted to give you all an update. I made a couple tweaks to some code for security and continuity (you shouldn't notice any differences - it's on rarely used pages) as well as adding a new "feature."

Basically, all this feature is is the ability to remove bookmarks. You can now delete bookmarks by going to the Manage Bookmarks page under Preferences and clicking the X next to the story you want to remove the bookmark for. I've felt this to be a pretty glaring omission for a while, so when I sat down to work on the site today, I thought that was a good place to start. Let me know if you have any questions/problems. Enjoy!
